It is our great pleasure and for the third consecutive year to invite you to the International Annual Quality Congress of the Middle East, QC3.
This year QC3 focuses on quality movement in the Middle East; its perspectives and implementation challenges; cultural specifications and its impact on sustainable development. QC3 is structured to integrate research capabilities across disciplines and countries to provide our societies with the appropriate quality instruments, tools, and systemic approaches of management as key elements of new strategies for sustainable development and their dynamics in the globalization era.
The Congress is coordinated and organized by the e-TQM College in collaboration with international partners from the Middle East and beyond.
Our plan is to bring together prominent minds worldwide to propose and discuss hypotheses and theoretical models pertinent to the main concern of the Congress, test significant conceptual frameworks to the empirical data in the literature, reflect on the conclusions of advanced unpublished studies, and stimulate impetus and direction to further research.
The main theme of QC3 was adopt to enhance the understanding of the quality practices in the Middle East by providing further significant theoretical and practical streams which are anticipated to advance the findings of the Congress of last year, QC 2008, and to provide accumulate knowledge and further stimuli for continuous development. QC3 main streams are going to include the followings:

- Strategic Relevance of ISO Certification in the Middle East
Call for Papers Those who wish to present a paper/join a panel discussion, are required to submit their abstract in 100 words along with a brief resume (100 words), contact details & passport size color photograph. All papers should be typed on the A4 size in Microsoft Word Format in Times Roman, font Size 10 and sent on a CD or by e mail.
The paper abstract and the brief resume are required to be e-mailed to QC.congress@etqm.ae by December 15, 2008.
The last date for submission of full papers is February 15, 2009.
